The Skydive Experience had the pleasure of skydiving into Camp I'm Still Me on June 7th, in Scottsville, TX.  It was an honor to be a part of such a special camp.  We were glad to play our little part in trying to bring smiles to the boys and girls attending this camp. 

Camp I'm Still Me is held in Scottsville, Texas every June at the Scottsville Camp and Conference Center. The campers enjoy air conditioned cabins, pavillion, dining hall, play ground, canoeing, swimming pool, fishing on the lake, and much more.

Our camp accepts children ages 5 to 17 who have had burn injuries. The camp is free for all children, including meals and supplies. The camper to counselor ratio is 4 to 1 or better. During camp week we are staffed with members of the Burn Care Team, doctors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, social workers, firefighters and adult burn survivors.

Thanks to the Brother's Keeper's Motorcycle Club for allowing us to jump in.  Also, congratulations for raising $40,000 for Camp I'm Still Me.

I know the term is overused these days, but my "SkyDive Experience" on June 4th was absolutely AWESOME! They told me that until you dive yourself, there is no way to really describe the feeling and they were right. It was everything I thought it would be and so much more. I am recommending you to all my friends but haven't found anyone as crazy as I am that wants to jump out of a perfectly good plane.

My tandem master was William and he was so much fun – possibly a bit crazy. Then again, I guess anyone who skydives might have a little crazy in them.  He kept me well informed on what would take place and helped calm any nerves I had. I felt very comfortable and confident that everything would go as planned. Thank you for a super dive.

Donnie did such a great job on the video - keeping the camera on me when we jumped and during the freefall. I didn't even know we flipped a couple of times until I saw the video - cool! Love the soundtrack too. It was fun to see all the details that I missed during the excitement of the dive. I will always remember my jump, but with the video I can share my experience with all my friends and family - that is if my husband doesn't wear out the DVD. He watches it almost every day!

An extra shout-out to Chad too – you going up and diving with me made it even that much more special.

Thank you so much for helping me accomplish #1 on my Bucket List. Now, where can I find a hot air balloon and a zipline?
